Description
A two-volume early 18th century Latin edition of Opera Omnia by George Buchanan, printed in 1725. Buchanan, one of Scotland’s most important Renaissance humanists and poets, was widely regarded across Europe for his classical scholarship and literary works.
This set comprises Tomus I and Tomus II, containing his collected writings, including poetry and scholarly works.
The volumes have been carefully rebound in Moroccan leather with gilt decoration to the spines and paired with cloth boards, preserving the structure while maintaining a traditional aesthetic.
