An original 1930s Be-Ro Home Recipes booklet – 8th Edition, produced for Be-Ro Self-Raising Flour and filled with traditional home baking recipes.

Titled “Be-Ro for Economical Home Baking”, the booklet contains a wonderful selection of period recipes for scones, cakes, pastry, puddings, biscuits and other everyday bakes.

Recipes include Be-Ro Custard Tart, Rich Jam Cake, Shortcakes and many more traditional favourites.

The original cover features a fantastic period photograph of a young home baker alongside a packet of Be-Ro flour, making this a particularly charming piece of British food advertising and baking history.

A lovely addition to a collection of 1930s kitchenalia, vintage advertising, old recipe books or Be-Ro memorabilia.

The booklet is in genuine vintage condition with age-related wear including rubbing, creasing, marks, edge wear, page toning and some staining throughout.

There is also previous handwriting to the opening page as photographed. Please study the photographs carefully for overall condition.
