Finished in Gordon’s distinctive blue livery with red lining, the locomotive features the familiar character face, detailed running gear, black smokebox, cab detailing and a separate tender with moulded coal load and large yellow number 4.
The original box label identifies the model as Hornby R383 – Gordon the Big Blue Engine.
