A handsome early 20th century Edwardian oak smoker’s cabinet, retaining its original brass fittings and an engraved presentation plaque to the top.

The cabinet has an open upper compartment with shaped detailing and a ceramic tobacco jar, above two small drawers and one larger drawer, each fitted with ornate brass drop handles.

Two circular recesses are also incorporated into the interior for smoking accessories.

Of particular interest is the original engraved presentation plaque mounted to the top, giving the cabinet additional social-history interest and indicating that it was presented to a previous owner.

The oak has developed an attractive warm colour and patina, with age-related marks and wear consistent with an Edwardian piece.

The ceramic tobacco jar pictured is included.
