A vintage Matchbox Stingray Commander Sam Shore figure, still sealed on its original illustrated backing card.

Released in 1992 by Matchbox under licence from ITC Entertainment, this figure was produced to accompany the revival of Gerry Anderson’s classic underwater science-fiction series Stingray.

The set includes Commander Sam Shore seated in his hover chair together with the original accessory, all housed within the factory-sealed blister pack.

The colourful packaging features artwork of Stingray itself alongside the menacing underwater world of Titan, making it an especially attractive display piece for collectors.

The reverse of the card promotes the wider Stingray toy range and provides background information on Commander Sam Shore and the World Aquanaut Security Patrol (W.A.S.P.).
