A spectacular antique porcelain table centrepiece, exquisitely hand-painted and featuring a neoclassical mythological scene, supported by three figural cherubs seated on coiled fish tails.
This majestic covered urn is rendered in vibrant turquoise blue with intricate gilt highlights, showcasing a romantic hand-painted panel of a classical maiden flanked by putti in an idyllic garden setting.
Elevated by three white-glazed cherubs with finely modelled detailing, each holding a shell or scroll and seated on stylised dolphin tails, the base rests on a hexagonal plinth.
The lid is surmounted by an artichoke-shaped finial and further embellished with gold flourishes and rocaille edging.
A rare and ornate display piece ideal for formal interiors, mantelpieces, or dining table centre displays—radiating the opulence of late 19th to early 20th-century European porcelain artistry.
