A captivating and exquisitely detailed Kutani porcelain figure of a bijin (beautiful woman), depicting a graceful Geisha in full traditional attire. Dating from the Meiji Period (circa 1868–1912), this hand-painted piece radiates cultural richness and artistic refinement.

Crafted in the renowned Kutani style, the figure showcases vibrant enamel glazes in deep blues, reds, yellows, and greens with intricate peacock feather and geometric motifs adorning the flowing kimono. The Geisha holds a fan in one hand and wears a beautifully modelled obi and an elaborate headpiece with gilded detailing, symbolising high social and ceremonial standing.

Signed to the base with the artist’s mark, this piece is a fine example of Japanese Meiji porcelain art and would make a striking addition to any Asian art collection, decorative interior, or curated display.
