A striking original Art Deco period mantel clock by JAZ, made in France, featuring a beautifully mottled faux-burl Bakelite casing with bold geometric lines and chrome detailing. This timepiece is a perfect example of streamlined 1930s design, combining elegance with functionality.

The clock’s rectangular face is framed in stepped Bakelite with a cream dial, black numerals, and a contrasting marbled central panel. The hands retain their original chrome finish, with the JAZ logo proudly marked below the centre. The back is embossed with “JAZ – Made in France” and retains its original wind-up keys and mechanism access points.

It comes with its original green military-style wooden box, stencilled “54SB,” which adds further vintage appeal and suggests possible historical use or military surplus origins.
