One side retains the preserved wing membrane and fur, whilst the opposing side exposes the delicate skeletal structure, creating a striking anatomical contrast.

Mounted centrally upon a blackened wooden crucifix with carved “INRI” plaque detail, the piece has a strong gothic curiosity aesthetic reminiscent of Victorian natural history displays and cabinet of curiosities collections.
