This architectural form is decorated with deeply impressed geometric and floral motifs, highlighted by rich turquoise and blue glazes with subtle tonal variation and deliberate surface texture.
The bold, rectilinear shape combined with the rhythmic patterning is characteristic of Bitossi’s mid-century output and is widely attributed to designs by Aldo Londi.
The glaze pools beautifully within the recesses of the decoration, enhancing depth and visual interest while retaining a strong sculptural presence.
