A striking large-scale antique terracotta urn with a timeworn, chalky surface and beautifully weathered character.

This piece is hand-thrown and traditionally formed, featuring prominent ringed bands, sturdy lug handles, and a gracefully tapered silhouette, all in a rich earthen palette of warm ochre, stone, and remnants of red oxide slip beneath.

Its surface is naturally distressed through age and exposure, giving it a wonderfully rustic finish that speaks of centuries past – ideal for Mediterranean, Provençal, or wabi-sabi styled interiors and exteriors.

This urn would have originally been used for storage of olives, oil, or grain and now serves as a powerful decorative anchor indoors or out.
