A beautifully sculptural amber art glass elephant, formed from a substantial block of richly coloured glass and designed in a bold mid-century modern style.

The elephant is expertly modelled with a raised trunk, flowing contours and smooth organic form, showcasing the clean lines and minimalist aesthetic associated with Scandinavian and European art glass of the mid twentieth century.

The deep amber colouring catches and reflects light beautifully, creating warm honey and cognac tones throughout the body.

Crafted from heavy solid glass, the piece functions equally well as a paperweight, decorative sculpture or display object.
