Description

Width: 93cm

Height: 57cm

A characterful taxidermy juvenile wild boar, mounted in a standing pose upon a naturalistic woodland base of timber, bark and moss.

The young boar has been posed with one front hoof raised upon the gnarled wood, giving the mount a natural and alert appearance.

The specimen retains its coarse brown and grey coat, cloven hooves and distinctive wild boar features.

An unusual taxidermy display with plenty of presence despite its juvenile size, ideal for a natural history collection, country interior, hunting collection or cabinet of curiosities.

The specimen displays some age-related wear and areas of deterioration to the hide, as clearly shown in the photographs.

Please study all images carefully as they form part of the condition description.

Care Instructions:
Keep in a dry environment away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and humidity. Dust carefully using a soft brush. Avoid handling the specimen by the legs, ears or other delicate areas; move using the base wherever possible.
