The colourful cover cleverly combines an earlier Be-Ro advertising image with a contemporary home baker, making this a particularly nice piece of British baking and advertising memorabilia.

Inside is a fantastic selection of traditional Be-Ro recipes for cakes, scones, pastries, biscuits, pies, tarts and other home-baking favourites.

Recipes include dropped scones, Welsh girdle cakes, date and walnut loaf, jam and lemon curd tarts, macaroons, lemon meringue pie, fruit flan and custard tarts, accompanied by wonderfully retro colour food photography and illustrations.
