A fantastic vintage plaster figure depicting a traditional moustached chef or butcher, complete with tall chef’s hat, apron, rolling pin and cleaver.

The figure is hand-painted in cream, blue, red and black and has a wonderfully characterful expression.

Likely originally produced as a decorative advertising or shop-display figure, it would make a brilliant addition to a collection of vintage kitchenalia, advertising pieces or restaurant memorabilia.

The figure has a hollow plaster construction and displays plenty of genuine age and character, including areas of paint loss, rubbing, chips and general surface wear throughout.
