An impressive vintage Thunderbird 5 battery-operated Space Monitor toy, produced by JR 21 Toys, complete with its original illustrated box.

Modelled on Thunderbird 5 from the classic Thunderbirds television series, the toy features a metallic gold-coloured body, coloured translucent light panels, clear domed cockpit with International Rescue figure, side docking section and wheels beneath.

The original box describes it as a “Battery Operated Space Monitor with Flashing Lights” and “Battery Operated with Mystery Action and Flashing Lights.”

A particularly striking piece of original Thunderbirds memorabilia, made all the more collectable by the survival of its period box.
