Description

A beautiful polished Cleoniceras ammonite fossil from Madagascar, measuring approximately 10cm and weighing 210g.

The polished surface reveals intricate natural suture patterns across the shell, forming distinctive cream, brown and grey leaf-like markings.

A particularly attractive area of natural iridescence remains around the central whorl, flashing blue, green and gold as it catches the light.

The ammonite retains its classic spiral form with areas of natural shell and matrix visible alongside the polished surface.
