A superb vintage Morgan three-wheeler racing car toy, dating from around the 1950s and made in England.

The model is constructed in cast metal with a bright chrome-effect finish and is based on the distinctive Morgan three-wheeler, complete with two large front wheels, single rear wheel, exposed engine detailing, open cockpit and steering wheel.

The underside is marked “Safety Toy Reg No. 850429 – A Castle Art Product – Birmingham England” together with the Mettoy trade mark.

A substantial and particularly attractive British motoring toy with a wonderful period appearance.
