A fantastic vintage mechanical walking Tom and Jerry toy set, comprising both Tom and Jerry with their individual original illustrated boxes.

Each character has a wind-up mechanical mechanism designed to make the figure walk, with Tom finished in his familiar blue and cream colouring and Jerry in brown with his distinctive oversized ears. Both retain their winding keys.

The colourful boxes are marked “Mechanical Walking Tom of Tom and Jerry” and “Mechanical Walking Jerry of Tom and Jerry”, with a 1970 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer copyright visible to the packaging.

A brilliant pair of vintage cartoon toys, particularly appealing as a matching boxed set and ideal for collectors of Tom & Jerry, vintage animation memorabilia and mechanical toys.
