A rare and early Cornishware jelly mould by T.G. Green, dating to the 1930s and bearing the desirable Church Gresley backstamp.
This example features the classic blue and white banded design, paired with a fluted interior typical of traditional jelly and blancmange moulds of the period.
The form is both practical and decorative, reflecting the utilitarian yet distinctive aesthetic that made Cornishware a staple in British kitchens.
The Church Gresley mark places this piece firmly in the earlier phase of production, prior to later backstamp changes, making it increasingly sought after by collectors.
Early moulds such as this are less commonly encountered than standard kitchen storage wares, particularly in this clean, recognisable pattern.
A strong example of pre-war Cornishware, combining everyday functionality with collectable appeal.
Care instructions:
Hand wash only using mild detergent. Avoid abrasive materials and sudden temperature changes to preserve the glaze and prevent stress to the ceramic.
