An attractive antique French copper wall plaque featuring a detailed repoussé scene of a pair of ducks with ducklings amongst reeds and waterside vegetation.

The design is worked in high relief with a warm copper finish and contrasting verdigris-style patination, giving excellent definition to the birds and foliage.

The plaque has a shaped rectangular border and an original twisted metal hanging loop to the top.

Signed within the design to the lower right. A charming piece of antique French decorative metalware with a particularly appealing natural history subject.
