Description

Height: 21cm

A wonderfully macabre replica “Lucky Simian Paw” presented beneath a clear glass dome on a black wooden base.

The aged and distressed paw is finished with coarse hair, exposed nails and a beaded bracelet around the wrist, giving it the appearance of a mysterious preserved relic.

Accompanied by a Ministry of Obscure Relics catalogue card describing the fictional specimen as having been acquired in Borneo in 1940.

The reverse confirms that the piece is an entirely fictional, handcrafted artistic creation and contains no human remains.

A brilliant conversation piece for a Wunderkammer, cabinet of curiosities, gothic interior, horror collection or collector of unusual faux museum specimens.

Care Instructions:
Keep dry and away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and humidity. Handle the replica carefully and preferably by the base rather than the specimen. Clean the dome gently with a soft, dry cloth.
