Description

Height: 35.5cm

Width: 40cm

A characterful taxidermy mallard duck presented standing on a natural wood slice base.

The specimen displays an attractive mix of black, grey, white, chestnut and subtle iridescent green plumage, with the natural wooden base giving it a traditional country-house and natural history appearance.

A substantial decorative specimen that would make an unusual addition to a taxidermy collection, cabinet of curiosities, country interior or natural history display.

Vintage taxidermy may show natural signs of age, wear and variation consistent with the nature of the specimen. Please study the photographs for condition.

Care Instructions:
Keep dry and away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and humidity. Dust gently with a soft, dry brush following the direction of the feathers. Handle carefully and always lift from the base rather than the specimen.
