A substantial solid bronze sculpture depicting a graceful young lady standing beside a tree stump whilst holding a garland of flowers.

Executed in the Art Nouveau taste, the figure displays flowing drapery, elegant proportions and the naturalistic detailing associated with the movement’s celebration of beauty and nature.

The sculpture bears a foundry medallion marked “Bronze Garanti Paris J.B Déposé” and is mounted upon a polished black marble socle with decorative cast border.

The rich bronze patina accentuates the fine detailing throughout, from the delicately modelled facial features to the floral garland and flowing garments.

An impressive decorative bronze of excellent size and presence, suitable for display in both traditional and contemporary interiors.
