Charming vintage ceramic planter modelled as a donkey pulling a pink cart, finished in pastel pink, yellow, blue and white with hand-painted details.

A wonderfully kitsch mid-century piece, ideal for displaying a small plant or simply as a decorative ornament.

The cart forms the planter and features moulded wheel and rivet detailing, while the donkey has an exaggerated cartoon-style face typical of novelty ceramics of the period.

Condition:
Vintage condition with age-related wear.

There is damage to one of the donkey’s ears, including a visible crack and loss/chipping, along with chips and wear around the upper rim of the planter.

There is also general paint and glaze wear, particularly around the feet and raised areas. Please study photographs carefully as the condition has been reflected in the listing.
