A substantial natural amethyst crystal point from Bolivia, weighing approximately 1.48kg.

This impressive specimen has a well-defined natural termination with attractive purple colouration, ranging from soft lilac through to deeper violet towards the upper crystal.

The lower section retains areas of natural matrix and mineral deposits, giving the piece plenty of geological character.

The crystal has been left largely in its natural form rather than being uniformly polished, with visible growth features, inclusions and irregularities throughout.

A striking large specimen for a mineral collection, natural history display or cabinet of curiosities.
