An unusual vintage mid-century brass globe cigarette dispenser, designed as a decorative terrestrial globe mounted on a circular pedestal base.

The globe opens through the centre to reveal the internal cigarette storage and dispensing mechanism. Cigarettes are stored upright inside the globe, with the upper hemisphere lifting to provide access.

The exterior is decorated with a stylised world map in contrasting dark and brass tones, while the globe sits within a traditional curved meridian frame.

A wonderfully inventive piece of mid-century smoking paraphernalia and an excellent decorative object in its own right.

Ideal for a vintage bar, study or collection of novelty smoking accessories.
