A striking Art Deco chrome table lighter by Josef Lorenzl, featuring an elegant stylised nude female figure supporting the spherical lighter above her shoulder.

The figure is beautifully modelled in the unmistakable Art Deco style, with an elongated, poised form and highly polished chrome finish.

The spherical lighter opens at the centre to reveal the original lighter mechanism, while the figure is mounted on a stepped black plinth for display.

Josef Lorenzl is particularly known for his elegant female figures of the Art Deco period, and this unusual functional piece combines his distinctive sculptural style with a decorative table lighter.

The lighter is in working order.

There is age-related surface wear, tarnishing and marking to the chrome and lighter mechanism consistent with age, as photographed.
