Description

A wonderfully macabre anthropomorphic taxidermy duckling, dressed as a miniature Victorian-inspired gravedigger and accompanied by a tiny black coffin.
This delightfully eccentric creation features a fluffy yellow duckling wearing a miniature black top hat and holding a silver-toned shovel, standing beside a black coffin decorated with a red cross.

Emerging from the coffin is a skeletal clawed hand, adding a wonderfully sinister touch to this otherwise adorable little character.

The entire scene is mounted upon a circular black wooden display base, creating a charmingly morbid miniature diorama.

Combining the innocent appearance of a fluffy duckling with the darker imagery of graveyards, Victorian mourning and Gothic horror, this unusual piece perfectly captures the whimsical yet macabre world of anthropomorphic taxidermy.

An entertaining addition to any cabinet of curiosities, Gothic interior, Halloween collection or display of unusual natural history specimens.

Perfect for collectors who appreciate their curiosities with a particularly dark sense of humour.
