Founded in 1850, Negretti & Zambra were among Britain’s most respected scientific instrument manufacturers, supplying meteorological, surveying, naval and scientific equipment throughout the Victorian and early 20th century periods.

Their instruments were widely used by observatories, universities, government departments and industry.

A thermograph is a self-recording thermometer designed to continuously monitor and record temperature changes over time.
