An attractive Edwardian ebonised wooden box dating to 1902, decorated with an applied sterling silver mount to the lid.
The pierced silver mount has a flowing Art Nouveau design and is fully hallmarked, with the date letter corresponding to 1902.
The box has an ebonised black finish with rounded corners, hinged lid and decorative metal clasp to the front.
A lovely small Edwardian box, suitable for jewellery, keepsakes or display, with particularly appealing period silver decoration.
