A fantastic 1982 St Michael herb and spice rack, complete with six clear glass storage jars, decorative screw-top lids and the original wall-mounting rack.

Produced for St Michael, the former Marks & Spencer house brand, the set has a wonderfully classic early-1980s kitchen design.

Each white lid is decorated around the edge with a repeating blue floral motif, while the simple white rack could be wall mounted for convenient kitchen storage.

Most importantly, this example remains in its original clear packaging with the fixing instructions enclosed, making it a particularly appealing survivor for collectors of vintage St Michael and Marks & Spencer kitchenware.

I found another matching six-jar example specifically dated 1982, which supports dating this set to the early 1980s rather than the 1970s.
