A beautiful antique Davidson Primrose Pearline uranium glass tazza, with a decorative pressed glass pattern, scalloped rim and raised pedestal base.
The glass has the distinctive Primrose Pearline colourway, combining a translucent yellow-green body with an opaque creamy edge around the rim.
The centre features an elaborate geometric starburst pattern, while the pedestal has attractive moulded ribbed detailing.
Produced by George Davidson & Co, Pearline glass is particularly collectable for its distinctive two-tone appearance.
The uranium content gives the glass its characteristic bright fluorescence when exposed to ultraviolet light.
A lovely example of Victorian pressed glass, equally suited to a uranium glass collection or for display as an antique cake stand, comport or tazza.
