A decorative 19th century Staffordshire pottery flatback figure group, modelled with two hunters standing either side of a central deer above a painted clock face.
Hand painted in traditional Victorian colours, with green coats, orange detailing, tall feathered hats and floral decoration surrounding the clock.
The reverse is characteristically undecorated and flat, designed for display against a wall or on a mantelpiece.
This type of Staffordshire clock group was produced during the Victorian period, with comparable hunter, Highland and clock groups generally dating to the mid-to-late 19th century.
